Howdy!
I’m Kristin Rastatter, and I serve as the Director of Advocacy for the Urgent Care Association (UCA). I’m passionate about using policy and advocacy to make a real impact and I get to do just that every day by supporting the field of Urgent Care!
I work closely with our lobbyist, McDermott+, to engage with federal agencies like CMS, where we focus on reducing unnecessary emergency room visits and ensuring fair payment for Urgent Care services. It’s meaningful work that helps strengthen access to care for communities across the country.
My journey into the nonprofit world started with Meals on Wheels, where I fell in love with advocacy through volunteer management, program development for seniors, and fundraising. That experience shaped my career and drives the work I do today- always with a people-first mindset and a passion for service.
Fun facts: I’m a mom of four, proud spreadsheet enthusiast, forever Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan and firmly believe coffee deserves its own food group. I also share my home (and sometimes my meetings) with two spirited poodles named Dory and Gronk!
